Attic Insulation

As you probably already know, heat rises. That is why it is so incredibly important that your attic doesn't let it (escape along with your money).

THE ATTIC INSULATION PROCESS

When it comes to insulating your attic, you have a few of options to choose from. Depending on your budget, the needs of the space and the R-value you're trying to achieve, we'll work together to determine the best course of action.

If old insulation needs to be cleaned out, we have you covered and can add the disposal to your estimate.

"Hot" Roof

If we're spraying directly to the roof deck, we consider it a "hot" roof because heat will be able to enter the attic from the living space below, but not leave it.

Loosefill Blow In Insulation

Many times, the attic spaces in older homes can only accommodate blow in insulation. We have the tools and equipment to get this type of project done, no problem. You let us know the R-value you're hoping for, and we'll calculate just the right depth.

Combination Spray Foam and Blow In

We actually do this method fairly often. One of the additional benefits of spray foam insulation is that it creates a tight seal. If you're struggling with squirrel or rodent issues, a 2" layer of foam will help put an end to it.

Adding blow in insulation will then help to get your space to the R-value you're looking for.

Each project is unique which is why we may change the process based on your goals and use for the attic. Once we work together to determine what you want to accomplish we will plan our route of action.
